Prof. Gyan Chand Gupta, a chemistry teacher from Aligarh, once told that the only way chemistry can be learnt is by thinking about it all the time. At that time, it was difficult to comprehend what he meant but as I started mentally visualizing minerals reacting with each other and form new compounds, chemistry became a child’s play.

On the same lines, in my early days in medicine, Prof D Kumar, tried hard to make us understand anatomy instead of teaching mnemonics to remember it. No one appreciated it then, but as I became wiser, anatomy became understandable & his words still ring in my ears.
