Each time when I successfully complete a difficult surgery, even if someone else has not noticed or complimented, sense of accomplishment is beyond description. Those few moments of pride & self belief are worth living this life all over again.
Every time my son or daughter achieves grades or talk of their achievement(s), the sense of pride(even though I have never academically contributed) is heavenly.
